We are off to the beautiful Luberon area of France today for a shabby chic wedding, planned by Dites Moi Oui  with beautiful imagery from Les productions de la fabrik.

Today’s wedding is a mix of vintage, shabby chic, English tradition, rustic  and Provence.  The bride is Franco-English, and groom is an English gentleman. Our beautiful bride dreamed of a shabby chic wedding, and with her wedding planners Dites Moi Qui created a truly pretty day with lots of personalised details.

Dites Moi Oui said: “The venue the couple were looking for had to have a special soul & spirit. Our bride and groom first thought about Saint Remy de Provence area, where she spent some holidays when she was young but helped by their wedding planners, they finally fel in love with one of Pierre Cardin properties in Luberon : old stones, antique and charming ruined building, deep green grass…

Their chosen venue had all of these details and also belonged to a famous French designer.  The ceremony was held in the church of Bonnieux, a famous Provencal village in the Luberon valley. The bride was driven by her father in a splendid antique red MG.

The celebration was full of emotions while a soprano sang beautiful English hymns.  Early evening and the newlyweds guide their guests throughout the Provencal roads, vines and olive trees to reach the fabulous estate. Guests are amazed by the ancient building and all the old fashioned and vintage styling objects : blue Toile de Jouy tablecloth (very French), different napkin with blue printed floral motif, used bottles from Brocante shop, old blue French street number , white & blue hydrangeas, olive trees branches, etc….

The dinner is held under a fantastic sail and the party starts under the starry sky.  The bride and groom were welcomed by a short firework display.  The following morning and to end this fabulous week-end, the couple organised a brunch at the same venue where everything was removed and changed into a garden party : soft cushion set on the grass, sofas, armchairs, pallet-style table, etc…. a nice moment around BBQ, salad bar, French cheeses & ice cream cart everybody enjoyed!”
